All of the latest Eaton UPS models feature indication LED’s. The LED’s are positioned on the front door of the system and are used as status indicators. The LED’s change colour in order to indicate the status of the UPM’s or of the system. The LED’s are Green for normal operation, amber for bypass mode and red for alarm.
The larger Eaton 9395P use blue as the UPM status indication for VMMS mode. This is a high efficiency mode, the UPS is clever enough that when the load is low it will reduce the energy consumption of the modules not required to support the load.
